The website www.careerfactory.nl of Career Factory uses cookies. Cookies are small information files that are left on your (the user’s) hardware (e.g. computer or smartphone) by a website. TYPES OF COOKIES

These are cookies that are necessary to have a website function properly and provide the desired service.    These cookies are used to gather information on the use of the website. For this, the software of Google Analytics is used. It is measured how many users visit the website, at what time the website and pages are visited, from which region the internet user visits the website, through which other website the user has arrived on this website, what pages are visited (for how long and how often) and in what order and/or if error messages have occurred. The data gathered is used to improve service and match the website’s content optimally with the wishes and needs of the users.

The data is gathered anonymously and is not used for purposes other than improvement of the website’s performance. The data gathered is not made available to third parties. Career Factory measures the website visits with Google Analytics. Only Career Factory has access to the gathered data in Google Analytics. To give you an idea of how the gathered data is used, an example of the software can be viewed on Google’s site.

3. Tracking cookies
   Tracking cookies are cookies that gather data on the (internet) behaviour of the website’s user (Profiling). Tracking cookies are only placed with permission of the persons concerned. These tracking cookies are used to enable the user to use our website optimally. These cookies are used, for instance, to record information on the visit so relevant information can be used for the user’s convenience during a next visit, e.g. by already completing forms or offering advertisements that match the user’s (search) profile.

This applies, for instance, to the so-called ‘Social Media Cookies’. Information on the website can be shared through social media. For this, the social media buttons present on the website can be used. These function on the basis of social media cookies that have been placed by the social media third parties (including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn). By clicking the social media button you are redirected to the website of the social media party concerned.
